Ciaran was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Oregon with a degree in human physiology and minor in chemistry. He proudly followed in his mother’s footsteps by pursuing osteopathic medicine and attended the Western University of Health Sciences COMP-Northwest, where he received the prestigious Arthur O. Rott Scholarship and graduated valedictorian of his class.
Ciaran began his residency training in orthopedic surgery, during which time he found his passion for dermatology. He conducted research in skin cancer, medical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology in Florida prior to beginning residency at Lake Granbury Medical Center. He enjoys finding ways to contribute to the field through education, leadership, and community outreach.
In his free time, Ciaran likes hiking, cliff jumping, running, traveling, and eating his way through Dallas.
