Susuana Adjei, MD is originally from Ghana, West Africa. She moved to Indiana at the age of ten and completed all of her education, including undergraduate and medical school at Indiana University. Her interest in the field of dermatology piqued towards the end of her medical education, so she found other means to learn more and expose her to the field.
Over the last 2 years, she has worked as a clinical research fellow at the Center for Clinical Studies in Houston, Texas. During her time there, she helped run numerous industry-sponsored clinical trials for incoming therapies for common and rare dermatological conditions. She also worked on other research projects focusing on diseases such as autoimmune blistering diseases, CTCL, leukemia cutis, etc.
During her free time, Susuana loves to spend time with her family (both in the United States and Ghana), cook Ghanaian food, and listen to spoken word.
