The Lake Granbury Medical Center Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Residency Program is a community-based residency program that is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME ID: 2754800002, NRMP Codes: PGY1/ONMM1=2335275C2, PGY2/ONMM2=2335275R0, PGY3/ONMM3=2335275R1) and sponsored by Health Education Services (ACGME ID: 470075). Our residency program is accepting applications for the next class of residents to start on July 1. Once our program is fully built, we will have a full complement of fourteen residents in our program. Currently, our program trains six physicians.
The mission of the Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine program at Lake Granbury Medical Center is to educate, train, and develop physicians with exceptional clinical skills and ethical and professional behaviors, prepared to excel in the field of ONMM at state and national levels, while meeting the needs of the local community and greater regional area. Graduates will be prepared to successfully pass the AOBNMM board examination and enter the profession ready to practice clinically, teach the next generation of physicians in osteopathic principles and practices and produce research to support the practice of Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.

Our leadership is committed to fostering dynamic learning environments, and our diverse allopathic and osteopathic faculty with extensive medical education experience, are ready to guide you on your career path.
Residents will participate in different series of didactics, including local and regional meetings with ONMM physicians in the area. Some sessions will be presented via a virtual platform (e.g., Zoom or GoogleMeet). They will also participate in a research curriculum directed by the UNTHSC Research Faculty at TCOM. Continuity clinic will take place at the Health Pavilion also located on the UNTHSC campus.
On Friday mornings, residents participate in didactic sessions with program faculty on UNTHSC campus.
ONMM-1: Applicants entering the first year of post-graduate training, generally immediately following medical school graduation.
