David Mason, D.O., MBA

Dr. Mason believes that patient care should be about incorporating principles of sound medical care tailored to each individual with a rationalized approach. Treatment plans that are patient-centric are the foundation to successful patient outcomes. Incorporation of careful history and physical examination, medical management, and appropriate use of interdisciplinary health care teams with proper incorporation of OMT is the opportunity of every Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).

Active in national professional organizations, Dr. Mason is a past Chair of the Educational Council on Osteopathic Principles, a committee of the American Academy of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM). He was elected to a three-year term to the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO) Board of Trustees in March 2012. He has served the AAO on the Board of Governors, as a member of the Louisa Burns Osteopathic Research Committee, The Publications Committee, the past Chair of the Education Committee, past member of Postdoctoral Standards and Evaluation, past Chair of the Undergraduate Academy Advisors Committee, past member of the OPTI Liaison, and the Membership committees. Dr. Mason is involved in the ACOFP as a member of the OMM committee, and the CEE In-service Test construction committee.
